Prayer is the key element upholding us during our time in the wilderness and in the spiritual war to which we find ourselves. We are very much engaged in a war, a spiritual war. The spiritual war is taking place between the children of darkness and the children of light. Our ability to prevail in this battle is by “preserving in prayer”. We must maintain a strong prayer life, not just individually but corporately.
